Executive Coaching is a one on one relationship where the coach focuses on specific skills and attributes that the organisation and individual have identified as critical for the development of the individual. It is an intense working relationship that involves ‘tweaking’ the skills, attributes, attitude and behaviour of the individual to allow them to be more effective and efficient in their work and life.
In 2005 Leadership Education Australia was invited to plan, design and conduct a training program for the Queensland University of Technology in executive coaching. Whilst primarily for University HR staff, the course was opened to various individuals from the finance sector, government sector, private education sector and consulting sector. The training program was a six month program which included experiential training as well as theoretical and practical applications. The outcome is a team of highly skilled individuals with an extensive wealth of skills, backgrounds, interests and abilities, all of whom are competent coaches available to potential customers of Leadership Education Australia. It is this beginning point that distinguishes Leadership Education Australia in the field of leadership development and training. With the expertise of Dr Carol Dalglish, leadership educator and author, and Peter Evans, leadership educator, author, and business and community leader, we offer contemporary insights into the potential development of staff at all levels within an organisation.
